Objective,2,to better to know the characteristics of journals with retraction in the field of neuroscience in China.,Methods,2,using the query service of "The Retraction Watch Database" to search the retraction situation in the field of neuroscience in China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) in recent 11 years from August 2010 to May 2021, and to analyze the characteristics of journals with retraction (such as journal ownership, journal impact factor, publication period, publication language and whether it is open access, etc.) through the "Journal Citation Report - 2019 Edition" which provided by "Clarivate Analytics". Excel and SPSS software packages carry out data mapping and analysis respectively.,Results,2,in recent 11 years, 313 retraction records in the field of neuroscience in China were retrieved; the more influential of the publishing houses, the more journals with retraction; retractions are mainly concentrated in journals with impact factors between 1 and 5, accounting for 85.1% of the total retractions; most of the journals with retraction are published in English; the proportion of retraction of non-open access journals is higher than that of open access journals; no matter the quantity of journals with retraction or the quantity of retraction, the monthly journal is much higher than other periodical types.,Conclusion,2,the retraction situation in the field of neuroscience in China is still severe, which needs to be taken seriously by Chinese researchers in the field of neuroscience; at the same time, academic journal editors should grasp the last hurdle in publishing ethics.
